On June 10, 2013 at approximately 3:50 a.m., the Los Banos Police Department responded to a business in the 1300 Block of Place Road in response to an alarm company call of a possible break in.
When Officers arrived they observed 27-year-old Joseph Dean Baker running from the business, wearing gloves and a bandana over his face. Baker was caught by Officers as he approached Pacheco Boulevard and detained while the Officers investigated the alarm.
When Officers checked the business they located a window which had been partially broken. The video surveillance system showed Baker attempting to break a window to the business and running after he saw a police car approaching.

Baker was placed under arrest for attempted commercial burglary and booked into the Los Banos Police Department Jail pending $30,000.00 bail.
