The Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch came through Torrance today!! Thanks to all those that came out to support us as our Officers ran through the city!! The Special Olympic torch is on its way to Long Beach for the Special Olympics Summer Games! The torch will be used to light the Special Olympics Opening Games cauldron which will start the 2013 Special Olympics Summer Games June 8th and 9th. More than 1,100 athletes from around Southern California will be participating in the Summer Games. The Summer Games will be held at Cal State Long Beach. This will be the largest Southern California competition of the year. This event is open to the public!
