Thursday June 6, 2013 Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department personnel assigned to Temple Station ran in a leg of the Special Olympics Law Enforcment Torch Run relay.
Each year Law Enforcement Personnel from all over southern california participate n the run. The law Enforcement Torch Run serves to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement.
Temple Station Deputies recieved the torch from Arcadia Police Deparment Officers and carried the torch through Temple Stations Patrol area and joined San Gabriel Police Department Officer as they continued the relay through to officers from the Monterey Park Police Department.
