Full Notification

The Monterey Park Police Department will be participating in the Special Olympics Torch Run today. Runners will enter the City from Garvey Ave and New Ave at about 12:30 pm. Runners will be escorted by police personnel to Garvey Ave and Atlantic Blvd. Runners will then head south on Atlantic Blvd. until they are out of the City. No street closures are scheduled. Runners will utilize the lane closest to the sidewalk with police personnel escorting them.
