Today the Chisago Lakes School district will be conducting an evacuation drill for the primary school in Chisago City. With the recent issues of school violence and severe weather that have been in the news, the school district in cooperation with the Lakes Area Police, Chisago County Sheriff's Office and Chisago County Emergency Management conducted the drill to ensure students, faculty and first responders were familiar with policy and proceedures to ensure a rapid lockdown and orderly evacuation of the schools.
