On May 25, 2013 at approximately 10:46 p.m., the Los Banos Police Department responded to the 500 Block of North Santa Venetia after receiving calls of possible shots fired.
When Officers arrived they contacted a 33-year-old male who reported he was standing in front of his residence when a male approached from the street and fired shots toward his home. No injuries were reported and Officers discovered shell casings where the victim reported seeing the suspect shooting from. No further description of the suspect was provided.
“Our Detectives are following up on information that the suspect was last seeing running to a house in the neighborhood after the shooting. We are urging anyone who may have witnessed this to call the Police Department or the Merced Area Crime Stoppers. You can remain anonymous.”
