Pressure Cooker Found In Bushes By Front Lobby Of 545 San Antonio - Determined To Be SAFE

At approximately 1810hrs this evening, a resident of 545 San Antonio Road contacted the Mountain View Police Department to report a pressure cooker in the bushes near the lobby doors. Upon arriving at the scene, police officers used an infrared device to observe the pressure cooker and found it was radiating heat.

To ensure the utmost safety of the Mountain View community, a perimeter was set-up, outside agencies were called in to assist and buildings were evacuated. With the help of K9 and bomb units, the pressure cooker was ultimately found to be empty. The perimeter was released and units began clearing at approximately 2103hrs.
