(Update) Shooting Death Investigation, 5600 Blk of Magda Court, Palmdale, LASD-Homicide

Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a man and the wounding of another. The shooting occurred May 25, 2013, at approximately 7:40 PM, in the 5600 block of Magda Court, Palmdale.

Investigators have learned that two men, a 39-year-old White male and a 70-year-old White male, were involved in an altercation. Both men exchanged gun-fire and they were both struck.

Both men were transported to a local hospital where the 70-year-old male was pronounced dead.

The 39-year-old is listed in critical but stable condition.
