LAKEWOOD STATION PRESS RELEASE
Lakewood Sheriff's Station Traffic Detail is investigating a fatal, hit and run, traffic collision that occurred on Saturday May 25, 2013 on Norwalk Boulevard and Droxford Street in the city of Artesia.
The victim was walking eastbound in the crosswalk when a red vehicle struck her. The driver failed to remain at the scene of the collision and fled south bound on Norwalk Boulevard and out of view.
The vehicle is described as red in color with substantial damage to the front end and windshield.
