On Friday, May 17, 2013, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., members of the Corona Police Department’s Vice & Narcotics Unit were working prostitution enforcement between the 1000 block and 1300 block W. Sixth Street. Andrea Brewster (19 years of San Bernardino) approached an undercover officer and solicited him for sexual acts. Brewster was contacted and arrested for prostitution, along with misdemeanor warrants out of San Bernardino for prostitution.
In a separate incident, Sarah Phillips (24 years of Palmdale) made contact with an undercover officer and solicited him for sexual acts in front of her motel room. Phillips was detained in the room with her boyfriend, Harvey Thomas (28 years of Palmdale). After further investigation and interviews, investigators determined that Thomas was working as Phillips’ pimp. Phillips was arrested for prostitution, along with four additional misdemeanor warrants for prostitution. Thomas was arrested for Pimping and two misdemeanor warrants. Thomas was booked at Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.
