The City of Pasadena will host the Concorso Ferrari car show in Old Town Pasadena on Sunday, May 19th, 2013.
The Concorso Ferrari, an annual event sponsored by the Ferrari Club of America Southwest Region, will occur in the downtown streets of Old Pasadena this Sunday, May 19th from 10 am – 3 pm. The event will feature over 140 of the finest vintage and contemporary Ferraris. Upwards of 5,000 spectators are anticipated at the event.
Motorists and residents are advised that certain City streets in Old Pasadena will be closed, restricted or unavailable to vehicles.
The following streets will be closed beginning at 5:00 am thru the conclusion of the car show:
Colorado Boulevard between Pasadena Avenue & Raymond Avenue
The following street will be closed beginning at 6 am thru 10 am:
Pasadena Avenue between Del Mar Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard
The motoring public is urged to drive with extra caution; observe all temporary signs and restrictions and to obey directions from public safety personnel. The City of Pasadena thanks our residents, merchants, the motoring public and pedestrians for their cooperation during the Concorso Ferrari.
The City of Pasadena Police Department has worked diligently with other city departments to produce a comprehensive action plan for the Concorso Ferrari which takes into consideration several factors, including but not limited to, traffic and crowd control measures, emergency response and evacuation plans. The general public and spectators at the event are encouraged to report any suspicious activity to the Police Department on event day. Remember, “See Something, Say Something” is an instrumental component in working to keep the Pasadena community safe, every day.”
