#010 Vandalism to City Property
Ofc. Ceniceros investigated a vandalism of city property at 4276 Peralta. Unknown suspect(s) broke several windows by shooting projectiles, possibly BBs.
# 011 Residential Burglary
Dispatch received a call from the victim of a residential burglary. She stated that she had left her residence on Adcock for 20-30 minutes and found her home burglarized when she returned. A possible suspect was stopped ½ mile away but we could not confirm his involvement. Investigated by Ofc. Perry.
#014 Residential Burglary
Several witnesses called 911 to report 2 males exiting a residence on Eggers carrying a TV. They were last seen leaving in a newer, white Honda Accord with a spoiler. Investigated by Ofc. Kindorf.
#023 Robbery/Burglary Arrest
An adult male entered Safeway at the Fremont Hub and committed a theft. Loss prevention personnel contacted the male outside of the store at which time the suspect assaulted security staff. Ofc. Barbero arrived and arrested Williams for robbery and burglary.
#031 Multi-Unit Burglary
Ofc. LoBue investigated four separate burglaries at Motel 6 (North). Unknown suspects entered four rooms under renovation and removed flat screen televisions.
#040 & 041 Felon in Possession of Loaded Firearm / Brandish Firearm / Possession of Meth / Hit & Run:
A 23 year old adult male drove his vehicle through a fence into the backyard of a residence on Lake Barlee Ln. The vehicle then collided into the house. The driver exited his vehicle and fled the scene of the collision. While trying to escape, he brandished a handgun at several citizens. Union City PD also received a call from a citizen who reported a suspect attempted to carjack him at gun point. A perimeter was established and K-9 Officers Dodson and Layfield responded for a search. In the end, the adult male was detained within the perimeter and positively identified by victims. He was transported to WTH and after being medically cleared, booked at Santa Rita. The scene was supervised by Sergeant Cortes. Case investigated by Officer N. Johnson. The crash was investigated by Officer Dodson.
#042 DUI vs Tree
Investigated by Ofc. Meredith and FTO Blass
Incident #13036595 Outside Assist
Newark PD requested an officer to respond and assist them with a search of a mentally unstable subject. Officers Blass, Meredith, and Wilson responded and subject was located.
