Sachse PD asking for 911 educational videos...
Here in Sachse, as with most all of North Texas, our 9-1-1 system is part of the NCTCOG 9-1-1, North Central Texas Council of Governments. We participate with a team of Public Educators for 9-1-1 for North Texas and the City of Sachse. We would love to get some community involvement in our public education upcoming contests.
We are having several contests to help promote 9-1-1 awareness:
Your assignment is to create a 9-1-1 Public Education Video. It can be aimed at children, teens, adults and seniors and on any 9-1-1 issue (e.g. how to dial 9-1-1, don't call your parents BEFORE calling 9-1-1, know your location, speaking clearly, butt dialing etc.). The videos can be from 3-15 minutes long. The due date for submission is May 30.
We are also looking for new designs for our Halloween Bags. Submit your ideas and it might be one being used on 10,000 bags showing up on a front porch near you! The due date for submission is May 30.
We are looking to create new designs for our 9-1-1 tee shirts and 9-1-1 young hero tee shirts. The demographics are aimed at 10 year olds. Our NCTCOG mascot is The Ready Fox. The due date for submission is May 30.
You may email the designs to [email protected] or bring them to the Sachse Public Safety Building and turn them in at the Dispatch window.
