Police Warn the Public about Recent Auto Thefts
The Los Banos Police Department is asking residents to consider taking extra steps to secure their vehicles after experiencing a rash of vehicle thefts in the City. On May 7, 2013 the Los Banos Police Department took five reports of stolen Honda Accords and Honda Civics in the Los Banos area. Officer Alfonso Flores recovered four of the vehicles after finding them abandoned at different locations in Los Banos.
“Car alarms, steering wheel club devices, and parking your vehicles in the garage are just some of the ways to reduce your risk of being targeted by potential thieves.
-Ray Reyna, Police Commander
