Pit Bull Attack 
On Friday, May 10, 2013, at approximately 4:15 P.M., the Corona Fire Department and the Corona Police Department Animal Control responded to the area of Morales Way and Honors Lane in south Corona reference a dog bite/attack.
Upon arrival, fire personnel located a female juvenile (15 years) who had been attacked by a pit bull while she was walking her dog. The female juvenile sustained injuries to her arms and one of her ears. The female juvenile was treated at the scene by the Corona Fire Department and transported to the hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries to the female juvenile is unknown at this time.
The pit bull was located nearby and taken by Animal Control. The owners were located, identified and interviewed. The pit bull was unlicensed and the owner had no proof of vaccination for the dog.
The name of the victim is being withheld due to her age.
