A major repaving project on Broad St, between Edison Pl and Franklin Street, starting on Mon, May 13, & continuing through Sat, May 18. 
Mayor Cory A. Booker and Engineering Director Mehdi Mohammadish announced that the City of Newark will launch a major repaving project on Broad Street, between Edison Place and Franklin Street, starting on Monday, May 13, and continuing through Saturday, May 18. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destinations.
The work schedule is as follows: Monday, May 13, to Tuesday, May 14: Street milling between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Tuesday, May 14, to Friday, May 17: Utility work daily, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Saturday, May 18: Re-surfacing, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
