OPERATION DAY TRIPPER

Flemington, New Jersey – On October 3, 2012, defendant Daniel Keane (Age: 22) of Annandale, New Jersey, was arrested as part of Operation Day Tripper in Clinton Township, New Jersey. Defendant Keane was charged with the disorderly persons offense of being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10b. Defendant was not charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance or possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute. This charge is merely an accusation of criminal activity on defendant’s part. Defendant is presumed innocent and has not been convicted of any criminal violation.
