On May 4, 2013 at approximately 7:48 PM, officers were dispatched to a two vehicle crash at SE 10th and Tee Anchor Blvd. Responding officers learned that a 1997 Ford F-150 driven by Enrique Torres, WM, 47 of Amarillo had been east bound on 10th. A 2005 Dodge Neon driven by Frank Luna, WM, 49 of Amarillo was north bound on Tee Anchor. The vehicles collided when Torres failed to yield right of way at the yield sign. Luna was taken to a local hospital with what were initially believed to be life threatening injuries. As the time of this release, investigators have learned that the man’s condition has stabilized and the injuries are not life-threatening. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Dept.
