Beware of Intruder in Cardiff 
Deputies from the Encinitas Sheriff's Station are warning people in Cardiff to be aware of an intruder who went inside a home while a woman was sleeping.
The man you see in this sketch entered an apartment in the 2200 block of Carol View Road on April 29th at 3:10 a.m. A woman who was sleeping inside awoke to the sound of footsteps and saw a man standing by her bed. The man ran out. The woman was not hurt.
A "hot prowl" is when an intruder enters a house while someone is home. It's dangerous because of a possible confrontation between the intruder and the victim.
