3 Amarillo men arrested in connection with yesterday's homicide.

The victim that was killed in the robbery was identified as Edward Dewayne Pendleton, BM, age 26. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning in Lubbock. Special Crimes investigators developed information about three suspects involved in this homicide. All three suspects were located and interviewed in the Special Crimes Unit.
Suspect one is identified as Kenya Abdel Martin Jr., BM, age 23, and he was arrested for Murder. Suspect two is identified as Stevon Kentrell Polk, BM, age 20, and he was arrested for Murder. Suspect three is identified as Damarrus Ary, BM, 21, and he was arrested for Aggravated Robbery. All three were booked into the Potter County Correctional Center.
Original release:
On May 1st, at 7:04am, APD officers were sent to the 800 block of S. Kentucky on a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a resident of the home laying in the living room with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Further investigation indicates that 2 subjects forcefully entered the residence and a male occupant of the residence was awakened by the noise and went to investigate. The intruders shot the resident and ultimately fled the scene. The male resident was taken to a local hospital, where he later died as a result of his injury. The victim’s identity is being withheld until next of kin can be notified. Special Crimes is investigating this shooting and is asking anyone with information to call 378-9468 or Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
