VICTIM: 1 male adult (deceased)
1 male adult (wounded)

SUSPECT: Unknown

UNIT: Homicide Bureau (Lt. Hernandez)

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult and the wounding of another at South Wilmington Avenue/West Laurel Street, Compton.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital where one of the victims succumbed to his wounds. The second victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
