On 4/30/2013 during the course of an investigation Deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office were attempting to serve an arrest warrant, at 993 E 300 N, Lot 35, Angola, and observed items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence and Deputies located purported methamphetamine, marijuana, and several items commonly associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Arrested and booked into the Steuben County Jail were:

Adam Gonser, 35 years old, Angola for:

Possession of Methamphetamine, D Felony
Illegal Drug Lab, D Felony
Possession Methamphetamine, C Felony
Dealing/Manufacturing Methamphetamine, C Felony
Possession of Controlled Substance, D Felony
Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanor

Jessica Goodman, 27 year old, Angola for:

Possession of Methamphetamine, C Felony
Illegal Drug Lab, D Felony
Dealing/Manufacturing Methamphetamine, A Felony
Possession of Controlled Substance, D Felony
Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanor
Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony
Possession of Paraphernalia, A Misdemeanor


Gonser is being held in lieu of a $120,005 dollar bond and Goodman is being held in lieu of a $140,005 bond. Both are pending a court appearance before the Steuben County Magistrate. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation was the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section’s Clandestine Lab Team.


Any criminal charge is merely an accusation. The Defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
