The Sachse Police Department and the DEA want to thank those that participated in the bi-annual National Take-Back Initiative this past Saturday. We were able to collect 292 pounds of unused and/or expired prescription and over the counter medications to be properly disposed of. This will keep these medications from making thier way into our water system, or accidentally ingested by children or animals. We will hold another event in the fall.
