Date: April 27, 2013 Reference: Homicide
On April 27, 2013, at approximately 4:20 P.M., Officers of the Corona Police Department responded to the 800 block of Railroad St., reference a possible shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male and female victim inside a residence with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated, and is listed in stable condition.
Detectives were notified and responded to assist with the investigation.
The names of the victims are being withheld pending the notification of family.
The motive for the shooting is still undetermined and the investigation is still ongoing. The Corona Police Department is asking anyone with additional information to call the Corona Police Department’s Hotline at (951) 817-5837.
