The Township of Ocean Police Department will be hosting a local collection site as part of the “DEA’s National Take-Back Initiative” medicine disposal day. The event will take place at the Ocean Township Police Headquarters between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th, 2013 This initiative, open to all residents of Ocean Township, was organized to encourage local community residents to properly dispose of their unused, unwanted and expired medicine.

This national and statewide effort, with the majority of New Jersey police departments participating, is being spearheaded by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA).
