The Bergenfield Police Department will be participating in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its sixth opportunity in three years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
Medications for disposal should be brought to Bergenfield Police Department headquarters at the borough hall, 198 N. Washington Ave. The service is free and anonymous; no questions are asked
