National Volunteer Appreciation Week April 21-27.Thank You To Our Volunteers For Their Contributions
National Volunteer Week is April 21-27 and the Burbank Police Department would like to acknowledge all of its outstanding volunteers.
In the past year, our selfless volunteer cadre provided more than 2,600 hours of service to the Police Department. Their assistance allows our sworn and civilian staff to focus their efforts on providing safety services to the community.
Our volunteers provide service in a variety of ways within the department—from providing assistance at the public counter, to helping with traffic management, assisting our investigations bureau, helping with media relations, providing training support, and performing data entry.
These individuals continuously demonstrate their value to our organization and community. Their pleasant attitude and concern for our community members are always present during their day-to-day interactions.
The Burbank Police Department would like to thank our fantastic volunteers; every one of them is an invaluable member of our police family. We could not do the jobs we do without their help. Please join us this week in acknowledging them and their important contribution to our community.
