Arrest made in residential burglaries in Sonoma

On Thursday morning, April 18th, 2013, staff at the Trinity Episcopal Church on E. Spain St. discovered a one of their restrooms had been broken into. Inside the restroom they located a large amount of miscellaneous used clothing, some with price tags on them. Also on the church property, they located an abandoned bicycle, a wheeled basket and a few empty storage bins, none of which belonged to the church. An alert church staff member saw a suspicious woman on the property and photographed her before calling the Sonoma Police Dept. for a report.

Sonoma Police deputies responded for a report and during the investigation discovered some of the property discarded on the church property belonged to a resident in the 200 block of E. Spain St. Further investigation at that residence revealed several thousand dollars worth of antique, vintage and high-end clothing, shoes and jewelry had been stolen from the garage.

Sonoma Police deputies recognized the photograph of the woman lurking around the church property that morning as Harmony Love Bolt (age 42, a transient from Boyes Hot Springs). It was also discovered that the fur jacket she was wearing in the photo had been stolen from the victim's garage.

Deputies arrested Bolt in the early morning hours of Friday 4-19-13 in her trailer parked on Sierra Dr. in Boyes Hot Springs. A subsequent search of Bolt's trailer revealed it to be stuffed full of the stolen items from the garage burglary on E. Spain St. A total of more than $45,000 worth of stolen property from this burglary was located inside Bolt's trailer and returned to its owner. Deputies also discovered about $400 worth of furniture and household goods, which had been taken in a separate residential burglary in the 200 block of East Napa St. That property was returned to the owner as well.

Bolt is in custody on several counts of burglary, possession of stolen property and a Probation violation. Her bail was set at $51,000.

The investigation is ongoing. Anybody with information regarding these cases are asked to contact the Sonoma Police Department at 707-996-3602.
