Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews have created a bypass allowing water service to be restored to the one customer affected by the 16-inch main break located near the top of Kili Drive in Makaha. As a result no customers are impacted by this main break. The main break was reported on Saturday, April 20, at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Kili Drive between Farrington Highway and Huipu Drive remains open as the main break is not on the roadway. Work to repair the break to the 16-inch main is temporarily suspended. Additional equipment is needed to complete the repair. BWS crews are expected to return to the scene later today (April 21, 2013) to resume the repair work.
