All lanes of traffic on Keolu Drive between Hui and Nanialii Streets have been re-opened as of 7:30 p.m.
Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews worked diligently throughout today and into this evening to restore the sections of roadway and sidewalk areas that had severely buckled from the break on a 12-inch water main on Keolu Drive. Although BWS crews were able to restore water service by 6 a.m. this morning, extensive road repair kept the two makai-bound lanes closed until now.
The BWS would like to thank affected motorists and residents for their patience and understanding as its crews worked as quickly as possible to restore water service as well as the roadway.
