Primary hazards will be damaging winds, large hail and a few embedded tornadoes.

Throughout the day expect periods of clouds and sun with winds around 15 MPH and occasional gusts to 25 MPH. The high will be 77 and a low of 53. Chance of precipitation is 100% with rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Instructions:

ALL INTEREST ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA ARE ADVISED TO CLOSELY MONITOR THIS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS FRONTAL SYSTEM AND REMAIN ALERT FOR POSSIBLE SEVERE STORMS FROM LATER THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT.

If you have outside activities scheduled this afternoon and evening pay close attention to rapidly changing weather conditions and seek adequate shelter if thunder and/or lightning occurs.

Monitor local media and/or NOAA Weather Radio for further statements.
