SEXUAL ABUSE ARREST

A Gallant man has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Adam Samuel Kyle, 33, of Gallant, was arrested on April 8, 2013 and charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12, both are felonies,” states Investigator Haydyn Hedgspeth.
The two victims were abused in the Attalla area between 2008 and 2010. A family member reported the abuse.
Investigator Hedgspeth adds, “The sheriff’s office would like to thank the James M. Barrie Center for Children for their assistance with the investigation.”
Kyle was held in the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $50,000 property bond.
