Burbank PD and CHP Partnering In Kick-Off Event For California Teen Safe Driving Week Tues, April 2 at Burroughs HS 
The California Highway Patrol, Impact Teen Drivers, California Office of Traffic Safety, and the City of Burbank are raising awareness of the number one killer of teens in America -- reckless and distracted driving.
A press conference and distracted driving demonstration kicking off California Teen Safe Driving Week (April 1-7) and National Distracted Driving Month will educate Californians about the dangers of distracted driving.
In California alone, 20 percent of crashes are caused by distractions.

Distracted driving demo course sponsored by the Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy.
Media members will be invited to ride in the backseat of a car during the teen distracted driving demonstrations or to drive the course themselves while distracted.
