Wanted registered sex offender Amador Morales taken into custody. 
On 03/27/2013 just before 6:30 pm, 48 year old registered sex offender Amador S. Morales was taken into custody by Steuben County Sheriff’s deputies on an outstanding arrest warrant charging Morales with class D felony failure to register as a sex or violent offender. Morales turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office without incident and was booked into the Steuben County Jail. Morales is being held without bond pending a court appearance. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank those who assisted with providing tips and information.
