Police Shave Their Heads to Raise Money
Oakland, CA - For the fourth straight year, a team of Oakland police officers will participate in the Annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser at Children’s Hospital.
Come join us this Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 11:00 AM to cheer the officers on as they shave their heads in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. All donations are used to help raise money for life-saving cancer research.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation (www.stbaldricks.org) is a volunteer-driven charity, committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers, and give survivors long and healthy lives.
The foundation coordinates worldwide head shaving events where volunteers get bald to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and raise money to support life saving cancer research.
