The Lake County Sheriff's Office is currently conducting a missing person's search for 12 year old Jenica Fredrick. Jenica was last seen on Thursday March 21, 2013 at 8:00 AM at her Cobb California residence as she was getting ready to go to school by riding the school bus. It was confirmed that Jenica had not ridden the bus or attended school on Thursday.

Jenica is described as Caucasian female juvenile. approx. 4'9" tall, 116 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a green plaid colored jacket with a pink backpack.

Jenica was described as being distraught and upset over a recent behavioral incident at home.

The following agencies are involved in the investigation and or search of Jenica Fredrick:

Lake County Sheriff’s Office
California Highway Patrol
Lake County Search and Rescue
Mendocino County Search and Rescue
Marion County Search and Rescue
Sonoma County Search and Rescue
Solano County Search and Rescue
Napa County Search and Rescue

Search teams have been searching the Cobb Mountain area since being called last night.

During the investigation today, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received unconfirmed information that Jenica may have possibly been headed to the Lakeport area.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts or believes they have seen Jenica Fredrick is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 707-263-2690.
