COLD CASE: "Lime Lady" unsolved murder. #poltwt #OKCOSO

(Oklahoma City) April 18, 1980 the body of a woman was found on the east bank of the North Canadian River approximately 20 miles east of Oklahoma City near the town of Jones. To date the woman has never been identified, and the person who killed her is unknown.

The unidentified victim became known as the "Lime Lady" due to the fact that the murderer used lime in an attempt to accelerate the decomposition process. The specific type of lime used actually helped preserve the body.

Today with a national and international Twitter audience following the hashtag #poltwt the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office will release a series of tweets with information about the case in an attempt to create new leads.

The victim is described as a white female, between the ages of 18-25, 5'6-5'7 tall, 118-120 lbs, brown hair, and she had extensive dental work with some teeth out of alignment.
