On Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at approximately 11:15 p.m. the Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) Police Department was monitoring a Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) call regarding a subject with a gun who was on a bicycle in the Fulton Road and Darla Road area. The subject was later seen near Sebastopol Road .
Due to the nature of the incident and the location the subject was last seen the SRJC PD issued a Nixle alert locking down the SRJC South West Campus located at 1620 S. Wright Road, Santa Rosa. The SRJC PD dispatchers contacted staff at the South West Campus and an SRJC PD Officer responded to the South West Campus.
Soon thereafter, SRPD took the subject into custody on the Joe Rodota trail, just north of the campus.
