WHAT / WHEN:
Beginning as early as Tuesday, March 12, the 7th Street / eastbound SR-22 connector to the northbound I-605 freeway will be closed weekdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., for approximately two weeks.

WHY:
This daytime closure is necessary to complete pile driving activity adjacent to the connector as efficiently as possible. In addition to the daytime closures, the 7th Street / eastbound SR-22 to northbound I-605 connector may also be closed for intermittent night work (11 p.m. to 5 a.m.) as part of the regularly scheduled nightly construction.

RECOMMENDED DETOUR:

1. From 7th Street / eastbound SR-22, exit Studebaker Road and turn right; Turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 freeway on-ramp.

Although this is the suggested detour, motorists may be using Seal Beach Blvd as an alternate causing delays.
