Public Assistance needed regarding the Murder that occurred at 11300 block of Earlywood Drive

On March 9, 2013 a reporting person called police to conduct a welfare check on a complainant who lived in the 11300 block of Earlywood Drive. The reporting person had not heard from the complainant for several days. When officers arrived, they found the back door of the residence open. Officers entered and found the complainant deceased.

There were signs that a person or persons had entered the house to possibly commit a burglary. However, it is undetermined what, if anything, has been taken.

As of right now, Investigators have no witnesses and is seeking the public's assistance. If anyone has seen any suspicious activity in recent days in or near the 11300 block of Earlywood Drive, they are asked to contact Detective Scott Sayers at 214-671-3647.

The complainant has been identified Avanell Cowgill W/F/2-25-1934. The next of kin has been notified. This incident will be documented on Case Number 56585-A.
