THEFT OF PROPERTY ARREST
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested and charged in connection with theft of property in Attalla, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Daniel Issac Hodges, 19, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with one count of first degree theft of property and one count of third degree burglary, both are felonies,” states Investigator Ben Greene.
Hodges allegedly stole scrap metal, including five antique sewing machines and a bucket full of copper, from a residence on Highway 278 West, Attalla. He took the items, on four different occasions, from a building located on the property.
Hodges is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $7,500 property bond.
