LAPD Bomb Squad responded to a suspicious package left at Mission Community Hospital. The suspect, with a previous history of mental illness, advised that a bomb was inside a duffle-bag, which he left inside the waiting area of the hospital. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Mission Area Officers assisted with evacuations of the hospital as a precaution. The LAPD Bomb Squad rendered the object safe.
