FREEZE WARNING & POSSIBLE WINTRY MIX 
The National Weather Service has issued a FREEZE WARNING for the majority of the State of Georgia which will remain in effect until 9AM Saturday morning. The FREEZE WARNING is in response to expected temperatures between the mid 20s and lower 30s during the hours of midnight till 9AM.
There is also the potential for a LIGHT WINTRY MIX across the Metro Atlanta area late tonight and early morning hours Saturday. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for North Georgia that will be effective between 10PM tonight and 7PM Saturday. The forecast is that a mix of rain and snow will transition to mainly snow across North Georgia late this evening then spread southward into the Atlanta area by early Saturday morning.
Generally less than one inch of accumulation is expected with slightly higher amounts more likely in the higher elevations of North Georgia.
Instructions:
Due to rain possibly mixed with snow at times and the expected freezing temperatures, roadways will become slick.
USE EXTREME CAUTION during travel late this evening and early morning hours on Saturday.
Freezing temperatures may threaten outdoor plants and/or other agriculture interests. Those in the warned area are advised to harvest or protect tender vegetation.
