Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that his office investigated an injury crash that occurred on 2-25-2013 at approx 0809 hrs on Dutch Settlement St and Twin Lks Rd in Wayne Township. A van driven by Bruce Shultz 53yrs of South Bend was traveling west on Dutch Settlement, when a vehicle driven by Kevein Robles 27yrs of Dowagiac disobeyed a stop sign crossing in front of him causing a collision. Passengers of the van, Charles Lace 73yrs of Dowagiac was treated at the scene and Sue Wolf 64yrs of Dowagiac was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial for minor injuries. Shultz was treated and released at the scene. Robles was also treated and released at the scene. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, and seat belts were worn. Cass County Sheriff's Deputies were assisted on scene by Pride Care Ambulance and Dowagiac Fire Dept.
