Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that his office investigated an injury crash that occurred on 2/22/2013 at approx 1030 hrs on M 60 and Lilac St in Howard Township. A passenger car driven by Ronald Baker 44 yrs of Niles was crossing M 60 Northbound on Lilac and pulled into the path of a Westbound semi driven by Eric Snover 33 yrs of Holland. Baker sustained non life threatening injuries and was transported to Lakeland Hospital in Niles, and Snover was not injured. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, and seat belts were worn. Cass County Sheriff's Deputies were assisted on scene by SMCAS ambulance and Howard Township Fire Dept.
