A transformer has blown at the corner of Elliott Ave at Emeritus Cir. Elliott Ave has been shut down at Albany Dr and Emeritus Cir (east). There are reports of power outages at the north end of the main SRJC campus. There are no injuries. PG&E has arrived on scene. The District Police Department is advising all to remain clear of the area so that emergency crews can manage the scene and repair the transformer.
