The Sheriff's Office has has responded to Kenwood Park located on Highway 279 near Kenwood Road on two consecutive days (Wednesday, February 20, 2013 and Thursday, February 21, 2013) for incidents involving items stolen out of three vehicles.
These incidents involve the shattering of vehicle windows and reaching in to remove purses or other items of value. Credit cards are then used to purchase items.
Sheriff Barry H. Babb would like to remind citizens to remove valuables from their vehicles or keep them completely out of sight. Please be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious persons or incidents immediately via 911.
