Location: Petaluma Hotel, downtown Petaluma

Suspect(s): Jason Hartnett, 29 years old, Petaluma resident


Summary: On the listed date and time, the Petaluma Police Department responded
to a report of a vehicle the crashed into the front of the Petaluma Hotel
on the corner of Washington Street and Kentucky Street. The driver of
the vehicle (Hartnett) was determined to have been driving under the
influence of alcohol and was arrested for 23152(b) VC. Hartnett was
booked at County Jail. He was uninjured. There were no other involved
persons or vehicles. The collision caused damage to part of the office window
of the hotel, which was closed at the time. Hartnett does not reside at the
hotel and has no known connection to it or its residents.
