Two injured in traffic crash

Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. reports that deputies of the Cass County Sheriffs Office responded to a two car traffic crash on M 51 Hwy near Crystal Springs Road on 02-20-2013 at 0834am. Investigation showed that the north bound vehicle driven by Tamara Midaya (37 years old of Chicago)lost control of her vehicle and struck a south bound vehicle driven by Kelsie Primley (19 years old of Dowagiac). Both drivers were transported to Borgess Lee Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Assisting at the scene was Pokagon Fire Department and Pridecare Ambulance. The crash is still under investigation.
