INCIDENT: 10851 VEHICLE CODE – POSSESSION OF STOLEN VEHICLE
LOCATION: KOHL’S PARKING LOT – NORTH MCDOWELL BLVD, PETALUMA
SUSPECTS: Dawn Louise Pellini, WFA, 31-years, Venice CA
Charles West, WMA, 27-years, Transient
SUMMARY: On the above date and time, a citizen called the Petaluma Police Department to report two subjects were asking to buy marijuana in the Kohl’s parking lot. The citizen reported a WMA, West and a WFA, Pellini, had driven by them and asked the citizen if they had any marijuana to sell. The two then parked a1997 Ford Ranger p/u in the lot and walked across the street to Motel 6. The citizen provided the license plate number to the p/u and it came back as being reported stolen out of San Jose on February 12, 2013.
Petaluma Officers responded to Motel 6 and located Pellini and West attempting to check in. The two admitted to driving the stolen vehicle to Petaluma from San Jose and leaving it in the Kohl’s parking lot. Both subjects were arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail.
